A flatweave rug is a type of rug made by weaving warp and weft threads together on a loom without using knots, resulting in a thin, pile-free surface that is No Pile: Unlike tufted or knotted rugs, flatweaves have no raised fibers or pile.  This gives them a sleek, low-profile look and seem to be   reversible and highly durable. Many flatweave rugs have identical patterns on both sides, making them reversible and versatile in placement.
